Uneek Ink artist Javier has been tattooing since 2003. It all started with a home made gun and a lot on friends that let him tear up their skin. He had always known how to draw so his friends trusted him.
He didn’t really get going till 2005 when he got his first professional gun. After finishing his first tattoo with his new gun, he realized it was pretty good and kept practicing, getting better and better. He never thought he'd be a tattoo artist but his hobby quickly turned into a career.
"My goal as an artist is to learn and improve my skills to better fulfill my clients' wishes and, hopefully one day, own a shop. I want to give back to all the people that helped me in my struggle and help future artist. I love what I do a I can only hope that you do too."
